Fast-track project for Alan Jackson’s Silverbelly Whiskey Distillery & Museum in downtown Nashville. 2K Drywall completed interior demo, metal framing, drywall, and glass display casing walls in 60 days — around the clock — so the historic 3rd Avenue building could open on time.

The Clock

  • Demo to completion: 60 days. Crews worked around the clock so the building could open on schedule. Interior demolition came first — existing finishes, partitions, and ceiling systems out so the new program could go in. Metal framing followed immediately: new walls for the ground-floor tasting room, merch and photo areas, production/bottling sightlines, and the upstairs museum path. Drywall hanging and finishing closed the rooms so display, lighting, and FF&E could land without waiting.

The Specialty Work

  • 2K built and installed the glass display cases that hold the museum’s memorabilia — awards, instruments, wardrobe, photos, and career pieces. The cases had to sit square and clean so the exhibits look right under museum lighting, and they had to be done the first time on a 60-day schedule.

What the building became

  • Ground floor: live music, whiskey flights and cocktails, bottle-your-own, merch, and a view of Silverbelly going from barrel to bottle on site. Upstairs: “The Music, The Stories, The Legacy” — Jackson’s path from Newnan, Georgia to the Country Music Hall of Fame. Custom murals, tight display walls..
